It's a pity all the information wasn't transferred somewhere else to be continued on, and yes, right here on RP would be ideal.
This idea should be added to the ideas section so it can be properly considered and voted upon. The idea of extending the already large locomotive database here is appealing.
At least Railpage is not going away soon and the information would all be in one place for collaboration.
