Zooming in I've noted a number of "sold out" A & N class locos. Perhaps a re-run with cheeseburger livery has been done. Or maybe the long await modern 422's have arrived - body samples were shown years ago then all went quiet.

Gary at Blacktown is apparently working on a custom sound file for the LokSound 4.0.There has been an update on the DCC Solutions website.
Also DCC Solutions have a page up saying they are doing one but has not been updated.

I don't think the so called tantrum actually happened. It was a figment of some persons imagination, and at least whilst I was there did not happen, and was not even talked about. I was told about the new model before opening as I arrived very early, and Brian was working at the ticket booth setting up. He was all smiles and did not seem to be overly worried. I was in the Hall till 3.00 pm, and Brian's smile never left his face.
Its probably something they already knew about, in fact I believe Auscision and Powerline use the same factory. Mind you Powerline may be getting another factory to do this one. After all the Chinese would have trouble working out why they were making the exact same Loco for two different clients, and both locos being different dimensions and designed differently, as does happen.

From reports I got from those who attended there was not a lot of frenzy. Whole thing was a bit of a non-event. Just wot I hear - could be wrong so convince me!

I can assure you I arrived in a polo shirt over shorts, and it was not that bad for this country fella. I had the coat on because I arrived too early and slept an hour or so in the car
And I put it back on because I was tired of carrying it, and the air conditioning was a bit on the cool side (for me) Outside it was overcast but a lot better than the 35C you should expect in March in the NE anyway 
You guys in the North are spoilt rotten, I guess, until it decides to hail of course

I eventually took that red jumper off less than 5 minutes later anywayHoly cow! Low 20s is winter weather mate. keep in mind I have spent the last 25 years where the mid-day temperature is between 31 to 33 year round.

Imagine it was a classic case of smoke and mirrors.....
No hint of the C as a result. Does not mean its not lurking out there somewhere but I think many folks (myself included) believed it was the loco. I still think its coming - just a matter or when.
I'm quite happy it was the SCT loco - its not my era so I can bypass this one and save some money.
