yep saw the Walthers ones - they are quite steep in price I think.
Yep, I agree not cheap, but the alternatives are not much better, & if you want to go DCC with the Walthers versions they are already set up for it.
I got a 90footer for my layout, in the previous iteration, it has indexing & the like & one could deem it almost DCC ready but still a bit to work on for that in setting up the decoder operation for it. It cost the same amount but I kept watch on U.S Ebay & it was on sale for around $US265.00, not long afterwards they were withdrawn as they went into working the existing model.
The question with a TT is what you are modelling therefore the size needed, Antons have the smaller 75 & 60 ft TT's the 75 no cheaper than his 90ft, as I wanted to have 57 & 58cl I needed the larger one,
Another option but sadly they now only do a 90footer as their smallest model is a US company called CMR Models, they sell their TT's in kits, but if time is there they make up fairly nice http://www.custommodelrailroads.com/turntables-3.aspx
. They do sell motorising kits & the like but that takes the price upwards.
