At Hobosn's Bay expo last the was a JCW sample running on Maryborough, the wagon is fitted with long shank scale head Kadees and the coupler pocket has a wide throat like the prototype. It's designed to run around 24" radius curves. Thanks mate.
Has anyone who ordered the OCY+RACE containers received their order yet? I've tried to get in touch with SDS but haven't heard back yet.Am assuming here that you are referring to the recently announced April 1st Special?
Cheers,
Ben

Yes, mine arrived in post yesterday.
I think SDS might be busy attending an exhibition in QLD this weekend? (willing to stand corrected)

Would a Bitumen tank wagon look out of place with a V/Line loco pulling it?Luke,
The SDS bitumen models look fantastic but not sure if one will fit in with my 1984/85 Victorian based layout? I especially like the NTBF 4704 & 8.
Could I re-letter it to a Victorian road number?
Noticed my credit card was debited over the weekend for my order of NQJW 80ft wagons. Can't be that far off. I appreciate the way SDS do business - despite my order being sent in March, they haven't hit my credit card until now.My credit card was also debited over the weekend and a copy of the invoice was emailed. I too placed an order earlier this year with SDS and also appreciate the SDS way of doing business. To be able to place an order early to secure the model I want without being expected to pay for it in full up front with no confirmation of when the model will arrive and also to receive an invoice at the same time my credit card is debited is in my mind a much better way of doing business.

You just got to love SDS

SDS also note more NRY's and 1st batch of FX hoppers have arrived. And to top off their news there's confirmation on facebook that the LWF project will include a resin X200 as one of the available loads.
I thought their comment regarding lighting referred to internal lighting in things like the XPT and other coaching stock. I have to agree with them as I am yet to see realistic lighting in coaching stock and what aspect of the lighting on the SDS 81 has not been catered for by Auscision on any of their loco releases over the past couple of years. You just got to love SDS

Not just with this van, but with the coming 81 Class as well. Give the public what they want and they will come in droves Thank you SDS for listening. You are already producing fantastic product, and attracting more and more of my money these days
Cheers
