V set Intercity livery remains?

I was passing Flemington Maitenance Centre when I spotted an 8 car V set, with the first car of the set carrying NSW Trainlink livery, the 4th car carrying the old Intercity livery and the 5th car also with the Intercity Livery. I would assume these are Y sets, although it didnt have any "Do not Board" stickers.

I have noticed this also, but I believe it is a 6 car set? That is where the Y set sits.

Hope to see the intercity livery remain!

There were earlier reports on this website that this Y set would reenter service as a usual commuter train? Perhaps this is happening?

I went past the Y-sets at Flemington yesterday still with the ATP and DTRS test signs in the windows, but curiously with pantos up.

Every time I've been by Flemmo in the last few months and had the ATP/DTRS test set(s) there, the pans have been up. I'd be more interested if C3805's were up.

The 2 x Y sets are supposed to re-enter normal services, as a 6 car set, now that the ATP tests are completed.

I was aware they were to go back into service. I was unaware the testing had been completed.
