4 blog updates added. Last chance to get the 43's and NLDF's at discounted prices as they arrive very soon.
although the Ambrose Ford stirs my GM mentality, that certainly would earn my utmost respectand make me rethink where the World is going... has gone

43 class order page is now gone.
Models available to buy on the product page.
All still available, get in quick
$335.00 each. glad I pre ordered.
I'd think that 2016 is a bit optimistic.Does anyone know if the 48's are still on track to be delivered this year?
Considering there's no product page yet (yes, there is an order form), we haven't seen even a test shot of the bodies let alone a painted sample, then you're not going to see them till at least second have 2016.

I know they've been talking about price rises, etc. but considering they were listed at $295 with the $250 special pre-delivery price, I'm shocked to see the $335 price for these, no sound or anything. Thankfully pre-ordered a couple also.
What price are the NR's, G's and BL's going to come in at complete with DCC non-sound or sound?

I was shocked when they already had the full price of $295 listed and then put it up further when they actually arrived.43 class order page is now gone.

I can not understand why anyone would be shocked at that after delivery price, as the signs have been there for ages, IIRC, I suggested a similar price around 6 months ago, likewise when the 48's were announced at the special price, my thought then was that once the EB price was stopped, then a price close to the TOR model of $315 would be more likely.
Also if you do a check around the shops, most of the models are now coming in without speakers & the like, you only get speakers if you get sound.
While anticipated to a degree, will this pricing point exclude buyers? Personally, it may only be +$40 above the previous RRP but I will more closely consider future 'casual' purchases
Fortunately Auscision have already produced a large component of what I'm interested in
Will be interesting to see what the new loco EB prices will be
The order forms for the 43 Class (which have been out since June 2014) specifically states the "after delivery price will be $295.00 per locomotive".
I think they should have given some warning that prices on the existing announced locos may rise before delivery. There's been plenty of discussions about future price rises.
As I said above, got two pre-ordered at $250 each. Just feel sorry for those who have waited and then copped the price rise unannounced.

Paul there was a question asked on their FB page regarding the preorder prices as to how long they would hold up, there were several replies from Auscision saying 22/10/2015. I would personally take that to include both the EB price & the after delivery price of $295.00.
Auscision as well as all the others have a cut of date for the prices quoted on their order forms & advertising they are the discounted EB price, in this case 43cl $250.00 including Shipping, The next price in this case $295.00 is the deposited price, it only reserves the buyer the model number & livery, as a guarantee, it does not guarantee the end price will remain the same.
That has been their policy for some time.

"after delivery price will be $295.00 per locomotive"
Other Manufacturers have been quoting post-delivery prices as "yet to be determined" or "expected to be $xxx depending on $AU", etc.
The answers on FB only said the $250 pre-delivery price ends on 22/10/2015. This was as late as 11/10/2015 so they would have known what the after delivery price would have been by then. If they'd mentioned that the after delivery price was to go up they would have had a whole lot more orders I'm sure.

The order forms for the 43 Class (which have been out since June 2014) specifically states the "after delivery price ** will ** be $295.00 per locomotive".They advertised the after delivery price of $295, then they are required to sell them at THAT price of $295. It is a contract, and that "contract" states what the after-delivery price (note) WILL be.
What price are the NR's, G's and BL's going to come in at complete with DCC non-sound or sound?Whatever they advertise the price at.
My highlightingAn order form is an offer of contract and nothing more, there is no contract until you enter into one by responding to the offer in the manner specified (eg making payment as noted in the offer) AND that response being accepted by the entity doing the offering. The order form offering $295 locos was recently withdrawn and replaced by a new offer of contract to purchase the loco for $335, if a person had not pursued the old offer before it was revoked then they have no grounds to complain or seek restitution for the higher pricepoint now in place. The order forms for the 43 Class (which have been out since June 2014) specifically states the "after delivery price ** will ** be $295.00 per locomotive".They advertised the after delivery price of $295, then they are required to sell them at THAT price of $295.
