Northern Sydney Freight Corridor (NSFC) - Epping Thornliegh Third Track (ETTT) - construction progress

According to Weekly Notice 6, the overhead wiring on the ETTT will be commissioned on Sunday 14th February 2016, the same day that the Northern and Central Coast Lines are shut down for trackwork.

I assume the ETTT track will also be commissioned into use at that time.

As of Fri 26 Feb, the ETTT had not been commissioned.
And it won't be until second half of this year.

Nothing, it's just signal and electrical testing from now till the next shutdown on the 11-13 of June when it opens.

The ETTT signals are all now showing two red lights (including automatics), though the lights are hidden behind the "X" (out-of-use" plates.

Lunchtime Sunday...signals double green along whole way, 81 class light loco at Pennant Hills going up and down the third track...
