Aircraft doesn't qualify, because the suburban boundary on that line was at Werribee. But Monbulk / Belgrave is OK, because the suburban boundary there was at Boronia. Monbulk / Belgrave would have been on the narrow gauge line then, but it still meets my criteria.
I was actually thinking of Balee / Wattle Glen, where the suburban boundary was at Diamond Creek, but anyway, over to Valvegear.
It is Burwood and, as he says, was originally called Hartwell.
The station is about 10 minutes walk from the former family home. When I was younger it was within Burwood. Some years ago, boundaries were redrawn, and the area became part of Glen Iris (much to my late mother's disgust!).
Definitely, since General Motors had two platforms.
In 2012/13 about 70 stations got new exits with myki readers for their down platforms.
Their placement left a bit to be desired.
The station I'm thinking of (which has a two word name) received a new exit in a excellent spot on platform two.
It's right next to the station's pedestrian overpass.
I'm not sure if platform one can be reached via the overpass.
The station is also close to a level crossing.
