Ropes Creek?

Ropes Creek is correct.
The photo was taken after fire destroyed the station building.
Over to you johnboy.

I guessed it by the newish concrete and new homes in the background.

Anyway, I have nothing to share for a couple days (until I get to my other computer) so open floor for now!

Just a rough guess  but on the old Western Main  branch  at Wang , conveyor belt footing on right side of picture which feeds Mt Piper power station .

That's it Wally, took it about 5 years ago. The sign actually states "Bathurst Ends"

No pics available  so OPEN floor .

The single tree in the centre background is where the weighbridge was along with a semaphore  .   Empty trains used to roll up to the weighbridge & then reverse back around the triangle up to the dead end behind Wang shops  [site of where the proposed marshalling yard was  to be ,culverts had already been built .] train used to then pull forward on the other leg of the triangle to load . Was Wang /Cox's River the only place with Triangles back to back ,along with a siding  into the power house          between the 2 n triangles ?

All the offerings are in the wrong area of the state. So it's not Balranald, Jerilderie or Carathool; not Koondrook nor Rand.

Walgett extension beyond the grain terminal.

Rodo has covered an enormous distance in one leap to close on this place. It's not the Walgett line, however. The year 1974 brought about  the closure.
  5915 Chief Commissioner

Could that be Brewarrina? Closed after the '74 floods. I was convinced that it was broad gauge and on a flood plain but there you go.
