Available Now! CF4412 Black Caviar (C44ACi) Get yours before they're all gone. Black Caviar is a retired Australian Thoroughbred racehorse undefeated in 25 races. She was named WTRR World Champion Sprinter in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. She was retired on 17 April 2013. Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia (CFCLA) in keeping with its 'Australian Horsepower' themed fleet have painted CF4412 a $6 Million, 138 tonne C44ACi locomotive in a one-off livery based on Black Caviar's racing colours. Very popular with rail fans this locomotive turned lots of heads when it was officially released on June 7 2013, and has continued to be amongst one of the most photographed and talked about locomotives currently operating in Australia. Auscision is proud to release CF4412 Black Caviar Ready-to-Run in HO Scale 1;87. Black Caviar will only be available from Auscision Models, Australian Modeller & Train World Pty Ltd and is a Official Licenced Product. http://www.auscisionmodels.com.au/C44ACI%20Locomotive.htm

These people aren't stupid and they like a bit of mischief. I'm guessing that the 'obvious' answer is not the solution to the question that was asked, even if it is the one that many wanted.

Think more widely, remind yourselves of what's in the back catalogue, maybe look at some of the less glamorous items and consider some more obscure possibilities. Who knows, but with so many new models arriving lately, perhaps we need a fresh variety of differently-coloured storage boxes to keep them in.

Hi

So the wait continues

For some perhaps

For others, twenty five consecutive wins is more than enough

I bet there will be some who disagree but that's racing for you

The announcement said "improvements" but didn't specify what they were. I didnt get any of the first run so I would be interested in knowing what needed to be improved about the GY's.

Cheers

Valentino is upset. He thought "Black Caviar" was going to be a fancy new cat food.

Well... Express Post or courier services offer next day delivery for not much more than regular slow parcel post. And of course Train World (in Brighton) is the Victorian supplier for over the counter purchases of this totally awesome model. Either would be plausible answers. Smile

I am quite happy with mine, but occasionally they can derail because the side frames appear to be soft, and don't hold the pointed axles in position all the time.

Hi

The million dollar question was answered tonight with Auscision saying they have rerun the popular NDFF ballast hoppers liveries and also an additional two models

Order form on their website.

My mystery model livery guess was right, alas this newer style of logo hasn't been done on the ADFF's.

The Auscision products page has had a few things moved around such as O scale locos being moved from the HO loco area. Of more interest however is a "coming soon" banner added to the passenger rollingstock section.

The "Coming Soon" banner will be for the Spirit of Progress Sets and the 'S' & 'Z' Cars, which are meant to be being released sometime this year.

CF44-36 and CF44-37 are still missing.

Freightliner anyone?
  coreyraff Station Master

C44-36 is an undecorated version.
Was up on the australian modeller page for a short time awhile ago before they removed it. No photo just the description. I took a screenshot of it but dont know how to post photos on here.
Ive heard C44-37 is also another undecorated version but unsure

I heard the 'undecorated models' were for a livery that was originally planned - but wasn't done. They weren't even shipped to Australia and the bodies produced were held for reruns or future new liveries...

Or, thats just another rumour.
