Looks like tablelands country in southern NSW or Vic and a modestly used line.

GrahamH's guess was two things.
A WSITD and also spot on! It is indeed Woodhouselee.
I don't think I have ever seen a point lever like the one in the photo anywhere else. As far as I can recollect the others followed a different style being mounted on a frame on a stand elevated a bit above the ground.

I'm surprised, astonished!! I've never had the chance to investigate the Crookwell line though I did drive Goulburn - Orange twice 20+ years ago.
I remembered noticing these odd point levers somewhere probably on a tour in the early 70s which meant either Canberra line, ie something to do with Captains Flat, or Crookwell line. I opted for Crookwell and picked Woodhouselee as it was ~halfway along.
When were these shots taken? Do you have more online?
I'll get a new shot up tomorrow.

The photos were taken in June 2015 and they are the only ones of Woodhouselee. I have checked out the Crookwell line in bits and pieces over a long period but I am hopeless at cataloguing photos or even giving them meaningful names.
Some of the photos I have taken are so old as to be on film and would number in the many thousands. Scanning them is not something I would even contemplate. Much like many others I suspect.
Unfortunately I am not into social media and none of my digital photos are on line barring the few I have used in WhereIsIt over time.
