I'm searching for more information on the Maribyrnong River Goods Sidings for a modelling project.
Thus far I've found a handful of relevant pictures on picturevictoria.vic.gov.au and this article on https://www.railgeelong.com/lineguide/maribyrnong-river
I've also reached out to the Footscray Historical Society and the Victorian Australian Railway Historical Society for permission to look through their archives. They have not yet contacted me back and it will be a couple of weeks before I have the opportunity to go in person.
In the meantime, are there any other resources that anyone knows if that I could look at? I would love to find a map of the sidings to depict the layout, and some clearer pictures of the buildings and area from earlier on (1921-1950s or 60s), but thus far I have not found much.
I am also planning on going to the Victorian State Library but that will have to wait a couple of weeks.
Does anyone have any further resources or experience in this sort of research that would help point me in the right direction?
