Thanks Sol,

Wasn't aware of Railcar, don't need ties asap, but getting low. If nothing from HK over next few days I'll give RC a call.

Cheers.

I ordered some of these as it's pretty hard to get Australian Domestic Containers in Europe for a reasonable price.

I like that there are prints on all five sides and that they come with painted locks, also the print is not always solid. However for the third of the price of a Walthers container this is not really a complaint, they will suit well in the container terminal.

What I don't get is why they are all (except the Sea Box 40') marked as 22G1 (which is a standard height 20' container) while they are 45G1. You print it anyway, so it would be great if the print is correct. Same with some prints on the Linfox box, see my full review here:

If you plan on doing more Australian containers, please add a 20' High Cube (2EG9/25G1), as they are very specific to Australia. Kent (both old and new), Pedemont, Linfox, Allied, Toll, Sadleirs, Atkins (to name only a few) would look great on these.

I'm in China this week and back in sydney on monday. It has arrived so ill be activating it as soon as i get into the office monday morning!

Also, i've sent some containers to the Australian warehouse so you'll get them even faster in the future. I've visited one of our factories on tuesday and we will have a stack more Australian ones for you at the same great price.

Next week we'll have some more trains to launch as well, although european this time.

Hi, certainly nice looking containers and almost priced well, is there any plans to sell these out of the Aus warehouse, as the freight cost neglects any real gain?

UASC, MSC, Hamburg Sud and MAERSK variants please!

(And some Westgate/Qube ones too, even though they're all captive on the Maryvale consist ; P )

Will have to check my photos of the Maryvale consist, as it has a large bias for international containers to appear on it.

Ian,

This request regarding the sending of photos ("front and sides") worries me a little. Why would people need to send you these photos? Surely if your company has permission from the copyright owners of the company logos involved to reproduce them as containers and sell them, those companies would be only too happy to provide you with the details of the designs?

You can confirm that with what ever containers you are producing you do have permission from the copyright owners to reproduce their designs?

This is a serious issue - something to think about when 'popular' liveries have not been produced in the past.
I have heard of many items (not directly train related) where production has been suddenly cancelled or items removed from shelves once the copyright owner noticed.

PCB is now available and works out to be about .16c  strip.

I popped into HQ when i visited China last week and spoke to engineers in R&D (I prefer to call them Q branch). They had a surprise for me and of course, on my desk, this morning was this little gem. What is it i hear you ask? I'd prefer you to guess.Smile

We have started to receive stock from our good friends at Roco and Fleischmann.

I've been playing for the Z21 at home and what a wonderful system it is.

More Australian things to arrive shortly BTW

Are there any plans for a more Australian colour in the static grass?  I have some light and dark straw but we need something much lighter please.

Its a DCC Accessory Decoder. It can operate 2 servos and 4 solenoids. In production now so should be available in around a month

Looks great Ian - does it have a relay switch to change polarity for frogs? Also wondering if it shuts servos off when they arent being used to stop 'chatter'?
