Looks great Ian - does it have a relay switch to change polarity for frogs? Also wondering if it shuts servos off when they arent being used to stop 'chatter'?

I haven't got the full specs yet

slightly off topic but of interest I'm sure. I've been playing with Arduino to control points

https://www.hobbynews.com/articles/trains/2017-09/controlling-model-railway-points-or-turnouts-with

Relatively cheap setup, few servos you're good to go. I've goe with push buttons so that I can install them in another section of the railway on another panel.

Adding a relay is super simple and ill be doing that next.

Price of an arduino setup is definately attractive - but the benefits of using an off the shelf dcc board is the ease of configuring the servo - centering and throw limits in particular.

The other neat thing with having a DCC accessory decoder is the ability to setup any variation of macros to throw multiple points at once - either from a dcc cab and/or NCE minipanel.

Servos can also be an issue - we have had about a 50% failure rate for the servos we've used at our club.

I'm interested in using arduinos for block detection / signalling, using current sensors.

50% failure rate! They might be doing something wrong because servos are super reliable and failure rates are generally low. When you consider the stresses imposed on a servo in an aerobatic plane against moving a point, its nothing.

I've had no issue using servos and adjustments are super easy. Each to their own and there are many ways to skin a cat.

Guys, many of you may be aware that we're entering our Cyber November sale period. I've put some crazy prices on the ever popular containers we have along with static grass, flocking products and much more.

Hi do you sell those white micro servos that the guy from Mega points controller sticks underneath the Dapol signals that the driver had failed and he retro fitted your micro servos. I would k

They most certainly do. Here's a link for the micro servo: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingtm-hk15178-analog-servo-1-4kg-0-09sec-10g.html

Also if your signals are at a distance away from your signal lever / control panel, invest in getting servo lead extensions that will help join the servo motors to the servo controller and signal lever / control panel. They come in different lengths but I just went for the longest: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/twisted-100cm-servo-lead-extension-jr-22awg-5pcs-set.html

Using hobbyking servo motors makes the cost of powering points and signals so much more affordable.

I just ordered 10 servos and was quoted in AUD paid with PP and then they converted it to USD why ??

We show you AUD so that its easier for you to know what the item costs. Hobbyking only accepts USD, that said you pay in AUD and paypal or CC will convert to USD.

They are making their way through the system and I'll activate them when I can.  For those of you that are not regulars at HK, free shipping on order over $50 these days.

I"ve also just ranged Micro engineerings offerings. If there is something you'd like stocked please let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Any news on the Australian colours in the static grass range?

Yep. Withered grass.

The other colors that we have can be mixed together to give an excellent result. I found making up a few tiny test batches gave me the result i was looking for.

For those that like liasDCC decoders we now have those. I've used LiasDCC decoders for a few years and they are super smooth.

Hi, I'm looking for a contact email regarding my last order... as it seems 1/4 of it was only shipped....

If you go to the home page of the site and scroll down to the bottom you'll see Customer Service. Jump on there and have a chat with our excellent customer service agents. I suspect you have ordered from two warehouses (AU and HK) without realizing and the other is on the way to you
