As you can see, I'm back on the air waves, after another trip back to the Wimmera and Western Victoria.
Harvest observation's;
Plenty of grain has been stripped and quite an crease in volume at Dimboola as we Barreled past, plenty of grain still to go, so I reckon the harvest is about half way through perhaps a bit more. ( i'm referring to the area along the western highway, then south to cavendish )
Strangely enough still lots of Canola still wind rowed and yet to run through the header.
Observed at GrainFlow Dimmy a train being loaded, no sign of the loco's, two grain wagons on the Nhill side of the loading shute and the rest of the consist on the Dimmy side.
A long freight train passing the grain site at the same time and another grainy resting on the main line at the Pimp loop, was late in the arvo.
The Dimmy site getting plenty of grain and working generally 7.30am till 11.00pm although the last few nights till midnight ish.
The recieval sites at Nhill have had plenty of grain delivered as well, old wobert might have a more detailed report on this.
