    Another grain ship due middle of March to take 50,000t of barley, will be fourth for year.

    This has been changed to 60,000t of canola, same ship and approx date.

    7738V is the train number.  Currently at Dunkeld.

    Just heard there is another loco, possibly BL27.  If so that makes 4 locos on the train.  Won't know for sure until they get here.

    Gidday Y115, good info, do you know, where the train was loaded, could be a good inclusion for all of your post's, if you are able to get hold of that info.

    I don't usually know unless someone mentions it but I'll try and find out, same with train numbers, only know what I see down here.

    The fourth loco was G540.

    If a lot more grain ships turn up or are booked then who knows, could be sooner than we all think.  None of us down here expected to see trains from two different companies within four months (SSR and QUBE) either but it happened.

    Another PN grain arrived, was told same locos as other day, one blue, one green so probably G520 and 8164.  People who help me out with numbers etc are not all rail fans so can get some weird descriptions sometimes.

    Today's train departed about 1530 again, almost running to a timetable!  Next ship due on 22nd (subject to change) to take 60,000t canola, I expect to see a few more trains.

    I have had word, yesterday's G520 and mate, had 55 grain hoppers, in tow Shocked hell, that's nearly a decent size, consist.

    My informant, when I questioned, his ability too count, says, several times over 50 but many times, more than 40.

    So, they are certainly, giving Portland, the works, at the moment, sounds great, to me.

    I usually drive by and try and count the number of wagons, but it can be a bit hard when the train is split, and you have a B- double bearing down on you... The usual consist is at least 40.
