This is the same weekend that the NRL Grand Final is on at Homebush. Parking on the Sunday should be interesting.

Its certainly an Exhibition well worth attending, as many people enjoy it. BUT what about those of US, who cannot walk too far. For health reasons? As much as Homebush may be Ideal. Why cant it be held at ROSEHILL RACECOURSE? Or would that interfere with the racing of Horses.?Dave,
Consider those who have a Walking Problem. Before you start thinking of putting them into a Foot Race to the front door.
More of a Viewer than a Modeller these days.

I guess not a good idea to turn up on Sunday, particularly if you are bringing or taking away large packages. :>Totally agree Bob. Expect anywhere between 60,000 & 80,000 at the grand final depending on who is playing, as such there will be very little and limited car parking spaces near the venue.
A nightmare on crowded public transport.

The race meeting on the Saturday of the long weekend is the Epsom Handicap meeting run at Randwick.I guess not a good idea to turn up on Sunday, particularly if you are bringing or taking away large packages. :>Totally agree Bob. To me its a very poor choice for the exhibition to be held there on that weekend. I guess that the likes of Rosehill may already had been booked out and could be part of a spring racing carnival on the Saturday.
If nothing else was booked for that weekend at Rosehill that should have been the venue. Thing is there are many other events at that location especially on long weekends, Caravan and Camping --- Pool and Spa ---- Home Gardening and the like. The race meeting on the Saturday of the long weekend is the Epsom Handicap meeting run at Randwick.I guess not a good idea to turn up on Sunday, particularly if you are bringing or taking away large packages. :>Totally agree Bob. Wouldnt there be lower grade grand finals played earlier in the day. Certainly has been in the past. People will be arriving from lunch time onwards. There used to be 3 matches, but I believe there is now 4 games played on the day, each having fair gaps between them.
Parking is booked out months in advance for grand final day.
If you plan on going on Sunday train or bus is the only way to go.
I just don’t get the obsession with 3 day shows on long weekends.
Conflict with the grand final
How many people are away on long weekends who may have attended show if on a regular weekend?
Often big sporting events on long weekends such as football in October.
I know plenty who have missed shows because they are on a long weekend. I have missed a couple myself being away.
I really think they would get the same crowd numbers or even higher on a normal 2 day weekend rather than 3 day shows.
3 day shows are more of a burden to exhibitors and retailers at shows.
It cost more to hire the venue for an extra day. I can’t see the extra attendances covering that increased cost.
