I'm slightly out, next crossing along still facing east, if Darren turned around 180 degrees, he would have a log train behind him, around Bodsworth Road Railway crossing area.

I'm slightly out, next crossing along still facing east, if Darren turned around 180 degrees, he would have a log train behind him, around Bodsworth Road Railway crossing area.Okay. That's good enough. I'm standing just east of the Forge Creek Rd bridge looking down the grade to Bairnsdale station.
No trains had run along this section for quite some time. However, there would've been a log train parked on the mainline a couple of hundred metres or so behind me, either side of the Bosworth Rd level crossing.
I guess it's Hairy's turn then.

Hairy and I have been rather busy this weekend, separately at the Morwell Model Railway Exhibition. So I'll answer on his behalf that it's not Arcadia. Let's just say that the location's not exactly a million miles away from the previous one.

It must be time for a hint. The level crossing in the background is the Princes Hwy. That should narrow it down a lot.

I'd say that you are correct. Both photos were taken near the former Sandhill Rd level crossing on the down side of Stratford.
