    If you look at the video and the left end of the train there exists a series of yellow tanktainers? on wagons.  Could this be a train for the mining sector with some intermodal attached?

    Bibra Lake is on the line that connects Forrestfield to both Fremantle and Kwinana.

    Doesn’t look like the usual train that runs to Freo wharves- the squat containers are similar to those used for mineral concentrate in NSW. Probably headed for Kwinana. Lots of industry in the area, as well as port.

    Why are (all) media referring to a “cargo” train. We put freight on Australian trains - cargo goes by ship.

    The train didn't derail and was able to continue on its journey after police had finished with it and a replacement driver was  provided.

    It was an Aurizon service to Kwinana

    No doubt the poor train driver was drug and alcohol tested. Not to mention stressed to hell.
