It worked for you because you simply cut-and-pasted the URL, you didn't use the URL tags to shorten it at all.
Unfortunately, it also featured numerous examples of you rudely throwing it back in their face rather than engaging in the discussion, most notably with your ridiculous 'no comment' responses to certain facts you found inconvenient for your argument.'No comment' responses have nothing to do with finding certain facts inconvenient, just so that others understand why I haven't responded to something.
