Thanks GrahamH. I have been to the Muntalpa tunnel but not viewed it on the north side. Date on photo, fresh growth on lantana and trees all were good clues to the location.

Brick facing limited the lines this could be found on. I have meant to stop and have a look at the Deepwater Station over the years since the line closed but have never got around to it. Good to see some of the infrastructure still in place after 32 years.

Thanks Graham4405.Had a very nice burger in the servo at Deepwater that day and took a few shots around the yard. I was interested to note a big John Holland Rail sign on the station building warning people to stay away (after I had taken my shots). Made me wonder if JHR have plans for the line or the site.

I was about to give some more clues, but Herberton is close enough. It's a bridge over the Peterson Creek (a tributary of the Barron River) near Yungaburra, on the line between Tolga and Yungaburra. The bridge was built in 1958, when the track was re-routed to make way for the Tinaroo Falls dam, but then the line was closed in 1964.

I had worked out it was 3'6".... It's probably in the Downs region... A closed line with intact track, so a WSITD, Photographer has Hendon behind and facing Allora where the line first meets the Warwick Allora rd?
