In NSW speedboards are mainly 5-side pointing to the left. The speed, say 40kmph is written black on yellow, though other colors are the speeds for other types of trains.
In QLD, speedboards are yellow disks written in black on yellow.
Cannot speak for other states or systems.
The picture on the front of this QLD Quiz has a speedboard and a ground frame. I will use "Snip" to make an extract.
As you might have guessed, it is going to take a while to clip the answers for any particular question.
