45%Test your knowledge of Western Australian railway lines with this 20 question multiple choice quiz:
85% for me, although, considering I travelled over the Mandurah line, and the section of Railway between Perth and Claisebrook about 20 mins before taking the quiz (and I've been a PTA employee for the last 8 years), I may have had a little bit of an advantage. Thanks steve_w_1990. I have added a couple of words to question 12 to clarify that it referred to the first passenger line to be electrified.
The two questions that tripped me up was were the first Railway in WA was. (I knew it was Geraldton and somewhere, 50/50 shot and missed). Also what line "Something Brook" was on. Unfortunately NFI was not one of the answers. (I think there was one more I got wrong, but I can't remember).
Also, when it comes to the first electrified railway in Perth, there once was a short electrified railway that ran to East Perth Power station. Not sure where exactly it ran from, or when it was de-commissioned (presumably the same time East Perth Power Station ceased to produce power), but that was there long before the suburban network was electrified.
Very enjoyable though, thank you again for putting it together.
