The corona virus COVID-19

  Mr. Lane Chief Commissioner

Lock the rest of the country from Victoria and NSW
doyle
At this point the other states should just block all travelers from NSW and Vic, not just specific areas.

Sydney metro should seriously consider Stage 3 as they are having community transmission in cafes and in gyms. Melbourne should go Stage 4 and cop it...people are still transmitting the virus at work.

It took Scotty from marketing and his team not long to come up with 'Victorian wave'  we are all in this together is... b u l l s h I t

@Bevens do we now blame Scotty for his slow response for the aged care staff casualisation, staff needing to work multiple sites to make ends meet
I know I've worked in aged care I had 4 jobs on the go in the 90's we haven't learned a thing

Slomo's reaction to the virus from the beginning has been more an economic response hidden as health response.

Things are slowly worsening in NSW, I do get the feeling that if the virus was to break out in Sydney, it would be far worse than Victoria currently is, just down to the sheer number of people that we have up here, some areas of Sydney are quite compact as well.

I agree economic response more than health response but he has balanced both.  I am not sure we can blame him for the aged care issues they sadly are a consequence of the virus.  if anyone is to blame it is the chinese bat eaters.
  route14 Chief Commissioner

The bat eaters in Wuhan.  The rest of China is blaming them.

This aged care fiasco brings home the need for permanent employment

I'm also aware in Vic of many people going to shops and cafes after going and getting Covid-19 tested.

We don't have a hope with idiots like these.

Maybe we should move covid testing clinics away from shopping centers to reduce the temptation to shop while you wait for your test results to come back. Here in SA our 3 covid clinics are located on the grounds of hospitals and health facilities which also provides an added bonus should someone fall critically ill due to a rapid deterioration of their symptoms.

The backlog on tests is approaching 1 week, and contact tracing over 2 weeks.

I fear it's not contained and is now running away from us.  Suppressed a little, but very tough to eliminate now.

Interestingly, Russia are about to approve a vaccine, well before normal approvals:

The Age is reporting that the pair attended at an illegal wild party in Melbourne that police were called to.  They are both in hospital in Brisvegas but will face court for their criminal deceit apparently.

They thought they were "Influencers" but turned out to be "Superspreaders".

The public handling of this in Victoria is woeful.

Should have gone to stage 4 a week ago, or at the very least only absolute essential causes for leaving home.

Starting to think that instead of referring to Victoria as Mexico I am going to start referring to Victoria as America.
