    Good afternoon all, I took this photo back on the 22nd January at Sefton Station, it is as follows

    Sydney Trains new B set, B6, departs Sefton Station with a revenue service towards Liverpool, once it gets there, it will form a City Circle service.

    Afternoon all, today I went out to Sefton and took a few photos, they are as follows


    NR'S112/8254/82?? Guide's 3NY3 steel train down past Sefton.


    Of interest, on the back on NY3 was a long assortment of about 40 grain wagons.


    Train 2126 comes in from the Southern Highlands with the Aggregate train, bound for Rooty Hill, TT104 on the back, TT101 on the front


    MZ1427 comes through Sefton with T261, this has come from Port Botany, and is heading to the depot at Minto.

    NR'S52/AN8/NR?? Leads train 3BM4 past Leightonfield headed for Melbourne, upon arrival the train will terminate

    Lone NR73 is in charge of steel service 4NY3, this train is headed for Whyalla in South Australia, it had several Cement Pots at the rear.

    Hi all, today I went out to Sefton and took a few photos, they are as follows


    1105/MZ1445 Guide Trip Train T251 out past Sefton heading for the depot at Minto, this has come from Port Botany


    TT101 is on the rear of 2126 Aggregate train from Peppertree Quarry in the Southern Highlands, to Rooty Hill Holcim Cement facility, TT111 was on the front


    An unexpected surprise today was the outbound Rooty Hill train with 2x81's, in the form of 8181/8177, train number was 1225.


    Final shot of the day was NR'S4/47 in charge of the Intermodal service 4BM4.

    NR'S42/106 lead a fairly lengthy 6NY3 through Leightonfield, bound for Whyalla in South Australia, this will travel via Cootamundra West and Parkes.

    NR'S92/64 Combine to haul Steel Service 3NY3 past Sefton, this train is heading to Whyalla in South Australia.

    8136/8138 Haul 1227 aggregate train down past Sefton, this was heading to Peppertree Quarry in the Southern Highlands.

    TT109 is the trailing unit on 2126 Aggregate train , as it makes it's way towards the Holcim Facility out at Rooty Hill, I think TT114 was the front loco.

    Final shot of the day was NR74 (Ghan Livery), and NR67 on Intermodal service 2BM4 to Melbourne.

    8173 is in the process of shunting some steel wagons at the Cringila exchange sidings, this will soon head off for Port Kembla itself.

    Old English Electric Locomotive D40 is seen chugging up the MT Kiera Coal line, I don't know where this particular unit was off to.

    A Bluescope Track Machine also proceeds up the MT Kiera coal line, this was later seen going down behind one of the big factories there.

    NR118/NR84(Real Trains Livery), guides train 3NY3 past Sefton on the Freight Line, this is destined for Whyalla in South Australia.

    TT110 with 2126 Aggregate Train crosses 3NY3 in the loop at Leightonfield, 2126 is heading to Rooty Hill via Chullora.

    Video of NR121 / NR107 northbound with 6AB6 on 02/08/2020 departing Banyabba loop (Grafton / Casino area) by Peter Osborne on Facebook. Obviously in the two days since that northbound trip to Brisbane NR 84 joined them.

    TT104 was on the rear of 2126 Aggregate train as it came through Leightonfield, this train is heading for the Rooty Hill Holcim facility via Enfield, TT110 was the lead unit.

    A slightly delayed 4BM9 is in the loop at Leightonfield, this train had been slightly delayed due to a burst water pipe near Cockle Creek this morning, SCT006/001 the units.

    2BM9 Crossed 2194 at Leightonfield with TT106 at the back, and T110 the lead unit.

    Note the usual onboard refueling system just behind 4MB9's locos. Discovered yesterday that not all SCT traffic Melbourne /Bromelton near Beaudesert south of Brisbane, have that onboard refueling gear.     The CFCLA locomotives (CF type) used on this service don't have inline fuelling attachments.
    I understand SCT have obtained permission to fuel these locomotives to 10 000 litres giving a mass of around 136 tonnes.
    Normally these locomotives would be limited to 80 km/h at this mass but SCT have been given permission to run them at 115km/h. Of course, the mass will reduce progressively to an acceptable 134 tonnes as the fuel is used...

    Hi Petan, sorry about the very late reply, I don't come here unless I have sightings, yes that is indeed the routine of the SCT Jobs, and will be for sometime until they rectify the Fuel Wagons that they used to carry.

    Hi all, today I went to Leightonfield for some sightings, they are as follows

    TT106 leads an inbound aggregate train towards Chullora, TT101 is on the rear,

    When the previous train got to Chullora, it crossed an outbound aggregate train with TT102 on the front, and TT108 can be seen here trailing along.

    As an added bonus, Grain train 3436 came along with the all EMD pairing of 8224/8240/8124, this was heading to unload at Kooragang Island near Newcastle.

    With all the grain trains(mostly PN)running through Sutherland at the moment due to the line from Moss Vale being closed cause of the derailment the other week , It was nice to see something different in the way of SSR 8942 with C509,RL301,442s2,C504 & C510 power their way up the hill towards Sutherland this afternoon https://flic.kr/p/2kmNAuF

    That leading 44202 is fast approaching its half century as wiki says it left AE Goodwin's Sydney factory in 1971. I am ignoring the possible 'Grandfather's Axe' scenario regarding how much is original etc etc. I am also ignoring any parts that were originally in the 40 class and reworked and fitted to the 442s, which is all covered in various books readily available anyway. If interested in these 442 matters, start a separate thread or read
