    It closed to passengers in 1957, then passenger services on the line were withdrawn in, I believe, 1993, although they've returned on a limited basis.

    I must make a clarification: In my previous clue I stated the following:
    I closed to passengers decades before passenger trains ceased passing through my location.

    This may have been unintentionally misleading.

    What I meant to say though was:
    I closed to passengers decades before ALL trains ceased passing through my location.

    That is to say goods and passenger services finished running through my location at the same time, long after the station was closed.

    That leaves few options, as few country lines lost their goods and passenger services at the same time.  I'm going to take a wild, wild stab at Bungaree, which was a junction for the racecourse spur, was itself closed in 1981 as part of the Raw Deal, sorry, the New Deal, and presumably ceased to have trains use the locale very recently, as the decommissioning works of the Bungaree passing loop were scheduled to commence today.
