What is the normal/average load of these trains, please? I assume that up trains would be the heavier?
I am just a little intrigued at what APPEARS the high horsepower frequently rostered. All in favour of the additional traffic and, especially, the return of C501 and the CLs.
No doubt there is a reason - just curious.

On 29/1/21 the 7922v service was "57 wagon's 1031 metres and 4083 tonnes trailing".

The CLF's have had the odd spot of trouble over the last month with another loco often substituting while some TLC is applied.
This week we've had both CLF's up front
