The question really is : How badly are the Poms going to lose?

I reckon England will give us a fair dinkum go this time, I think they will do it. If it's a blowout series: Aussies, Close: Poms

Australia has a tendency to lose the final test match of a series, or I'll say Australia 3-1 with 1 draw.

I'd say you're probably right.

Test cricket is the test. Not a crappy 20 20 match. England beat an injury depleted South Africa 2-1 out of 5 tests, and in those 2 wins against SA, SA were very close, but the 1 test england did lose, they were thrashed. And then Bangladesh in 2 test series 2-0, yes of course they will beat the Aussies. Australia will have to play pretty badly to lose I think. England are nowhere near them yet.

And the Aussies haven't lost a test since the dead-rubber in India back at the start of October last year, and even then they only lost by 13 runs.

The rain is probably the only thing thats going to stop a 5-0 Aus win.

As has been suggested throughout the thread,

The real winner of an English Ashes series is always the weather. I will probably win 4-1, with England fluking the 1 test win, the way Australia has been playing in England thus far.

But I'd put my house on Australia.

At the time of typing this post, we are getting thumped by BANGLADESH in a 50 over match.  Other than winning the opening tour match, out guys have shot themselves in the foot.

Hate to say it, but I think it's going to be a 5-0 whitewash to the Poms, weather permitting.

Plus England has the "Barmy Army" Who can compete with that, apart from the Adelaide Oval hill and possibly Bay 13 at the MCG
