The Scrap metal train will run ex cbr aprox 0400-0530 23/02 there is a 2 hour stop in bungendore I believe.

44208 leading S300 and S311 at this stage.

Nothing finalised yet. But I heard 27th feb.

Not sure on the twice weekly part. But it will run minimum of one up and one down trip per week fortnight. Or more as required. And EL53 and EL60 are being used on it as far as I am aware.

The flat wagons parked up on the North shunt are there for storage.

If you all want to see it out hauling tours sooner, then we all need to help with the expensive side of the trials, 18 tonnes of coal a bunker, that's roughly 6000-7000 + delivery and hire of machiner ...

Even though 6029 is beginning trials, we can not forget the fact that they still need our help to get her on the mainline. Trials are not cheap, and just the small movements around the railway museum  ...

All I can read into the call for tenders, is that the "Cowra Lines" will be removed from the CRN agreement with JHR. And a new agreement, for the "Cowra Lines" being awarded to the successful tenderer ...

There are fuel points at Moss Vale and Canberra. I suspect that there are ones at Cootamundra and Junee also.
