Yes, the IP link says "unable to contact server" for me unfortunately!

One Hitachi arriving at South Morang this morning just as my train departed, and another two stabled at Epping as my train went past.

Saw the nice new E-Class tram running down a track alongside the South Morang rail line today (in fact a lovely new x-trap as well) just after the preston work shops.

My god it is huge!!

It surprises me they haven't aimed to install a two level carpark whilst excavating underground so much.

Are there any design plans available?

Any information on when testing will be conducted and on when it will begin revenue services?

According to Google Earth's ruler tool, the platform stops along route 86 on Plenty Road are between 27-29m. While the E class (33.5m) will not fit on the platform fully, all its doors including the d ...

But how would a Frankston train (or any other Caulfield Group Line) be routed to a North Melbourne Group line without skipping a station in the City Loop, or doubling up on one?

I actually asked one of my friends and he recalled the one arriving at South Yarra had no passengers and no destination on it.

And the one leaving only had people in one carriage and they were all st ...

They can run on some of those lines out of service.

Both had passengers on board!

Any updates?

Has the first one running under its own power made it any further?

Thank you for the extensive list!

Will the new E class trams be able to run the 86 route? The platform stops further north are not much longer than the current B1/B2 trams!
