TasRail has no desire to open disused lines,  rather they seem to support ripping them up for bike tracks / rail trails.  1.47 million just announced to rip up the NE Line for a bike track.  Pathetic  ...

DTT are again doing a Train Calendar,  the 2015 calendar is $19.95 + postage and is available via there website.  Direct Debit or PayPal are the payment options this year.

With a ZC, CD, BC, open access and a brake conversion, you'll be able to compete in both the bulk and intermodal markets.......

And funding for a new (2nd hand) carriages, ex TGR stock is getting a little tired.  The ex South African steel carriages at HVR could be a good buy if the money was available.

2062 was seen on the southern outlet this morning heading to the scrap yard.

Depending on the setup at Bell Bay they could containerise the coal in open top containers from Fingal. There will need to be significant infrastructure built to use the HF's at BB.

MKA's aren't 1800, may say they are. They are a lot less than that. They are about 1400.
