Unfortunately, it has been shown time and time again, that arguing what we know to be what is true and correct serves no purpose on these forums.

What is true by you? Once again no substance to yo ...

Sorry, stuffed that reply up, I did mean to quote skidsteer.

Well skidsteer, open to debate. I do not know any drivers or any Connex employees so one must take what one gets. Please offer the other ...

Once again a case of the uninformed, you bluesousa, believing anything the media feeds you.

It is good to see that a simple pay rise will see drivers allow more trains to run!!!! Those minor faults that took trains off the rails will now be ignored?

What a crock! Typical case of the un ...

hi all,

What is the little LED cluster inset in the PA speaker on the Hitachis for?

Other than the City Loop stations, my favourite is Richmond because it has 10 platforms and it has a new and original look. It also has heaps of facilities so those are my votes.

Ok Hitachi fans! Cannot be bothered searching the forums but it is such an easy answer the effort to reply is a mere bit of typing!

How many sets are now out of rust proofing! Thinking two here!

Modified with a sticker? If so I'm not surprised the union is staying quiet

All fair and well, but does not really answer my question. There is a huge difference between safety faults and a petty problems.

I too have had a horror week of train travel. Have had to bus from Camberwell to Ashburton two days running, and lets gets some buses with air conditioning. More irksome the renamed Belgrave stopping  ...

I can understand how an open door on a packed train could be a bit scary for those right on the edge. Without grabbing onto the person in front of you, you have no rail at all if you are say in the mi ...

When was the last time someone saw one on the Alamein line? They seem to have dissapeared from there since the 3 car Xs arrived

Bloody hell, never has a topic being hijacked so quickly. Seemingly by the feel good anti smoking brigade.

I myself has had the odd ciggie at the far end of any platform, and as for undercover? Mic ...

Does anyone know what happened on the Alamein line this morning? I heard some sort of accident occurred between Ashburton and Alamein but I cannot see what it could be.

A week ago it was point failure between Riversdale and Camberwell. I'm glad I use Ashburton, at least there is someone there to tell you what the hell is going on.
