Great reads and information! What line is Tandarra on?

The two BG branches are busier than the SG currently. I suspect they would be even more busy if paths allowed it. Firstly, any maintenance should be carried out by Vline as part of their obligation to ...

Only commenting on it as the noise from the half baked MBRP was that only one train per branch could run at a time. I doubted that heavily myself back then. The proof is in the pudding, they can make  ...

How damaging has the heavy rainfall been over the past week or so? More heavy rain falling now and into tomorrow, especially in the Mallee. Shame it didn't fall 4 - 6 weeks ago up there.

Posted 17 Oct 2020 18:25 in Victoria by cbinyon

There were some decent falls overnight. Swan Hill had 20mm, Mildura almost the same. Hopefully doing more good than harm at this stage.

Th rail operators will have to be as efficient as possible, using every loop and crossing path available.

Posted 07 Oct 2020 19:26 in Victoria by cbinyon

I was under the impression, especially in the Mallee that more rain as needed? Hopefully the winds aren't too damaging. Hopefully more beneficial overall than damaging.
