there is also the problem of Ballarat for freights, it will be faster for trains to go via ararat to geelong as there are only a few paths through ballarat. those windows are getting smaller as v/line ...

Some Work has started on Maryborough-Ararat line with the removal of trees/vegetation at the Maryborough end of the line.

At the Ararat end there is a large pile of sleepers in the gas site in grano  ...

Great video and i went to 4k about 6 months ago.

You forgot about taking 8mp images off the video, the downside is the size of the files and you have to have a fast computer to edit.

its been running hamilton to portland and hopetoun to hamilton this year.

Was through stawell at 3.19am so that is why it was a bit later, normal time it about midnight.

It would be good to see some more railcams in other states other then Victoria, South Australia would be good.

The easy part of setting up a railcam is the installation, the hard part is finding a go ...

what someone should do is do a basic tutorial for railway photography or is there one around.

A basic thing everyone should do with taking video on there phone/ipad is have it landscape.
