cracker dust is pretty good source too... looks about right for used ballastI use two seives, one fine to get rid of the dusty bits and then a corser one to get roughly the right size...just dont use  ...

as pointed out track is not removed... merely covered with a roll of geomat (IIRC) & then a temporary road built on top... Wink

Walhalla has one crossing just before the Thomson river bridge...

It may only be a workshop type crossing... though ... its been a while since I was out there

may end up having more if the line  ...

Very nice.... good idea adding colour to your plaster...  saves painting it later...

Looks like trains will be running very soon Smile
