Any freights coming or going to Bendigo tomorrow
"HHHHH"

9084 "Might" run back into Bendigo around lunch time, it has been off and on of a Sunday for a little while now.

Last night XR559-X42-S301 arrived back into Bendigo at 18 45 on a wheat, presumably from Woorinen, judging by its 03 00 departure, and the arrival time back.

In the morring at school approx 8:35 i heard a big freight train come into bendigo you should have heard it. Does anyone have any pictures of it
"HHHHH"

Would of been a grain leaving on the down.  They have been leaving between 7 45 and 8 15 usually, the one you heard was running  later than usual.  Though one did leave at 05 10 Friday morning on the down.

G533 and XR554 are not in bendigo but a large consist of grain and container  wagons and X47,A79,S313,XR552 are in bendigo they are in the kangarooflat end of the yard
"HHHHH"

You would of heard G533-XR554 leaving on the wheat at 08 30.

The loco's in the yard were XR552-S313-A73-X43 on 9084, after removing the front 9 hoppers to make it fit into the yard, and lower the load. The X was shut down, and later T385 in CFCLA livery ex SSR for repairs, was added behind the X for the run to Melbourne.

Here are all the times for 9080/9083 until Friday (I won't post about 9084/9280 as they probably arrive and leave Bendigo in darkness). These times are subject to change:

THURSDAY:
Both freights are cancelled

I don't think they've run a 9083/84 on a Fri or Sat for sometime, possibly Sunday if theres no Sprinter driver training on the Exhuca line again next weekend.

Do you live close to the line at all ?

Pac Nat have run 9083 on a Friday, Saturday (and Sunday last week) for the past 2 weeks.

I assume when you say "83/84" that you mean a freight to Bendigo way in general.  I don't recall seeing one sitting in the yard on Friday afternoon, and Sat/ Sun just gone, Sprinters were going to and fro Echuca all day for driver training, not leaving any time during daylight hours for one to run.  A wheat did run Swan Hill way as a 9083/84 though i think.

You have to remember aswell....if you se 9083 on a Friday, its a Sat departure from Bendigo.

Gee, you Bendigo people are lucky, 9084/9280 comes through Sunbury around Midnight!!!

Friday 19/8/06 9080 had G535 and XR550. Saturday 20/8/06 G533 came through Sunbury on a Empty Grain to Deniliquin, the following night 9080 had G514 and X47.

Over what time period are you basing that fact on ??

I'm pretty sure over past years there have been weekend extras to Swan Hill that were numbered as 83/84, but that was when 9084 was a Mon- Fri only runner.  I think last Saturdays grain to Swan Hill "might" have been a 9083/84 aswell.

If that is 9083/84, then that shoots NR77's theory of 9083/84 being Echuca/Deni only, cause its a block load of wheat and never came from Echuca way, it was on the up through Cal Gully yesty arvo around 12 30.  Didn't see todays arrive back, but it was about the same time, and another block of wheat with G512-S301-XR550, currently sitting at the up end of the yard.
