    Blue Mountains Line  - Major delays
    Passengers travelling on the Blue Mountains Line are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time after a trespasser was on the line earlier between Leura and Wentworth Falls. Passengers should listen to station announcements and check indicator boards.

    Central Coast & Newcastle Line  - Delays
    Passengers travelling on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line are advised to allow additional travel due to a freight train requiring mechanical repairs at Wyee and after a freight train had earlier mechanical issues at Warnervale. Passengers should listen to station announcements and check indicator boards.

    Passengers travelling on the T1 North Shore, Northern Line & T1 Western Line and T2 Inner West & South Line are advised to allow additional travel time due to urgent infrastructure repairs at Ashfield. Passengers are advised to listen to announcements and check station indicator boards.

    Hunter Line  - Delays
    The 4.32pm Hamilton to Scone train has been cancelled due to a staffing issue at Hamilton. Passengers can catch the 4.45pm Hamilton to Telarah train to Maitland and then a bus will operate from Maitland to Scone. As a result, buses will replace the 7.06pm Scone to Hamilton train. Passengers should allow additional travel time and listen to announcements.

    I'm not even going to ask how they could have a staffing issue at Hamilton!

    Oh & some other interruptions on the Central Coast & Newcastle Hamilton line (or is that Line?) have been missed. That's why a V-Set was in the Awaba Up Refuge the other day.

    Now if only SydneyTrains/TfNSW can group them like nprey123 has!

    The V sets in the Up Refuge at Awaba were the ATP/DTRS Test Trains Y1 and Y2. They were testing up north and failed so got stowed in the loop out of the way, before V47 could get up there to rescue them.

    Problems in the Blue Mountains line yesterday with overhead wire problems between Emu Plains and Springwood

    Posted 30/11/15 05:20PM The Blue Mountains Line is partially closed from Springwood to Penrith only due to overhead wiring repairs between these stations. Bus companies have been contacted to provide a replacement service however they are yet to arrive, so passengers are advised to delay their trip. A limited train service continues to run from Penrith, and buses will supplement some services, but passengers should allow plenty of extra travel time. Passengers travelling in both directions should listen to announcements and check indicator boards.

    T5 Cumberland Line - Delays
    The 4.09pm Campbelltown to Blacktown train is cancelled due to earlier mechanical issues. Passengers can catch at T2 South Line train to Lidcombe and change for a T1 Western Line train to their destination. As a result, the 5.30pm Blacktown to Liverpool train is cancelled. Passengers should catch a T1 Western Line train to Lidcombe and change for a T2 South Line train to their destination. Passengers should allow additional travel time, listen to station announcements and check indicator boards.

    Trackwork today between Hornsby and Epping, all Central Coast trains are diverted via Chatswood with only a single stop at Chatswood in both directions between Hornsby and Central. All V sets are replaced by Oscars. Journey times between Hornsby and Central are increased by 15-20 minutes in both directions due to scheduling the trains to follow behind all stops suburban services (the suburban trains actually travel 2 minutes faster between Hornsby and Central, despite making an additional 18 stops).

    With that yet another delay on the Central to Newcastle Hamiliton Line, also add that those trains are going via the North Shore, and of course are not stopping at Strathfield, Eastwood (GOOD - get rid of the stop from interurban trains) & Epping.

    UPDATE: This has now changed to partial closure but with the exact same information.

    Sounds like it's going to last most of the day. I wonder what the damage is.
