Sorry guys,

I have been as crook as a dog for the past few days. I might throw this one open to someone else while I recover.

Thanks, glad to be of an example.  Smile

As for the photo, I might try for between Altona and Westona.

Former site of Brookwood, between Newport and Brooklyn.  The siding in the crossing is the former Brookwood sidings leading to Gilbertsons sidings, there was (until the mid 1990's) a disused large electric staff instrument used as an intermediate staff section on the west line.  It's just past the Kernot St crossing.

Yep, that is Brookwood. I hoped to throw people off with the stanchion in the background - they were used to carry transmission lines from the Newport powerhouse. On the down side (up direction for trains) the points for the Barley Board siding are still in the west line.

Graham.

It does look very like a photo which was up about 2 months ago, but that one had tram lines.

Working on the theory that this is not an accidental duplication of an earlier one, Oakleigh.
