Phil,
I would have thought that if you have the skills to build a 3D train with a pantograph then knocking up a couple of platforms and bridges shouldn’t be to much of a problem for you...
I have made the majority of the 3D objects for my route. That way I don’t have to rely on anyone else for permissions and I can customise the models as required to suit my route...
I have thought of a way to build these and I am going to use Google Earth's ruler and measure these objects in sections would this work or not?

Google earth has worked for me. Using the ruler is one way of measuring. You can also use other objects that you know the dimensions for and use them as a scale.
As an example, I had to build a locomotive shed but did not know how big it was. In the google image there was a loco nearby that I could recognise the type and I knew it was just over 20 metres long. By measuring how many locos the shed was long and wide I could roughly workout the length and width of the building. Not highly accurate but close enough for what I wanted it for.
So by using objects close by that you know the dimensions for you can get a rough idea of how long or wide a real world object is.
Hi guy's,
I just wanted to ask if anyone would like to be a tester for my route Clyde To Carlingford? I have done completed the line and added stations only but I haven't added the bridges, roads etc... And I have packaged my route using route riter's "compress with uharc" tool... I would prefer a route builder to test my route as my route is only announced "unreleased" at this stage.... If anyone would like this chance feel free to PM me...

Phil, your route's like 10% finished. Why are you calling for testers so early on?
Hi guys,
In regards to this route, I have some sad news. I am not going to continue building the Clyde to Carlingford route as I have my heart set on my North Coast route and all my time has been taken up as I am looking at 12 to 24 months of work or more. Please feel free to model the Clyde to Carlingford route, if you wish
Cheers,
Best Regards, Phil
Hey All!
I am stoked for this line on msts, as i live 10 seconds away from dundas station, i can get you some pics of the station, scenery etc. i can travel to other stations and do some pics on the carlingford line as well!
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Zac
