Could be any number of stations at this stage, but being in the belief that there going to be a twist, and the answer not so obvious, I will plumb for:

I'll join the suspicion brigade, and go for something which opened as a through station, but then changed character (ie, became a terminus?).
East Kew.

For this suspicion: through to terminus to through again: Lalor.

I had two equal choices yesterday, so for 4/6 I play: Menzies Creek.
All we have so far is 'opened as a through station'; it is only suspicion that looks for a change of character, and we are all looking the same way.  As with rejected Lalor, MC was opened through, became a terminus, then became through again.  Unlike Lalor, MC also had an intervening period of closure.
We could yet see: opened as through, then renamed; or opened as through, then closed completely and forever, or opened as through and later painted pink.

Clue 1 (again): Opened as a through station.

Clue 2 (new): I was a terminus at some stage in my life.

If "terminus" is meant to mean a station where trains terminated at the end of a run  and not a "terminal" station where trains could go no further then I think
Flinders Street qualifies.

Interesting question. This isn't a guess but does Blackburn fit the criteria of being a terminus because of the Middleborough Rd grade separation?

Anyways I'm interested to see how the line that ran through Darling initially ran to Oakleigh before being cut back to Darling sometime after 1890 and then extended out to Glen Waverley in 1930.
So my guess is Darling.

Using my own logic, Lakeside.

The suspicion brigade was anticipating well.

NIGELINOZ: Flinders Street was a fairly good guess, although I think it was opened as a terminus/terminal station (I see them as the same thing).

Flagstaff: Thanks to Middleborough Rd grade separation, I guess that Blackburn would have to fit the criteria of "I was a terminus at some stage in my life." As this was not an official guess though, I am not saying if it's correct or otherwise, until someone else makes it an official guess.

Here again are the clues for the new page:
Clue 1: Opened as a through station.
Clue 2: I was a terminus at some stage in my life.

If Blackburn is regarded as within the clues (and somebody else is entitled to it), Flemington Bridge: a temporary terminus for the duration of the toll-road work.

Guess 2 from me is Box Hill which I believe (Have been overseas for 5 years) was a terminus for trains during 2007 when the Middleborugh Road grade seperation works were underway?
