And yet the cab is full width wth just a mansard roof ...They are only prototypes/demos, I guess that if they are successful and result in UGL receiving an order, UGL can then afford to do the detailed design work to produce an "Australian" profile loco. Why reinvent the wheel?

Could be their ugliest loco yet lol. I wish they would put a corner radius on all their hoods like EDI. The sharp edges do nothing at all for me. All business like.
PH37 under construction at UGL, Broadmeadow.The angular section projecting from the hood side looks like the section on a class 70 just forward of the radiator.
