Where am I Victoria? - Non Cryptic - #3

Thanks, Gman_86.  I recall riding a train when I was 13 that stopped at Bungaree, hustled through Parwan, Gordon, Wallace and Dunnstown and crept through Warrenheip.  (I don't remember whether Millbrook was open at that time.)  Golden days!

Enough reminiscence - down to business:

I am a station on a closed branch line.

I was neither a terminus nor a junction.

I closed before the line did.

Not Glenfyne.

Further clue:

At most I had a passenger platform with a spur siding.  The spur was removed very early in my history.

There seems to have been a bit of trouble with the website in the last few days.

Not Axedale Racecourse.

Further clue:  I was close as a station in the late 1960s/early 1970s and downgraded to an R.M.S.P.  I closed completely after the railmotor service was withdrawn a few years later.

Not Kilcunda.

To narrow things down a bit, I am in the western half of the state.

This teaser isn't getting much interest, or perhaps people are waiting for a further clue.

All right, here's a summary.  These, I find, generally get results.

I am a station on a closed branch line.

I was neither a terminus nor a junction.

I closed before the line did. Indeed, I was closed (sorry, I didn't mean "close" as I typed previously) as a station in the late 1960s/early 1970s and downgraded to an R.M.S.P.  I closed completely after the railmotor service was withdrawn a few years later.

At most I had a passenger platform with a spur siding.  The spur was removed very early in my history.

I am in the western half of the state.

I am not:

Kerr
High Camp
Glenfyne
Axedale Racecourse
Kilcunda.

Further clue:

I have something in common with both High Camp and Axedale Racecourse in that I have a two-word name.  Or rather at least I did until I became R.S.M.P. something-or-other.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that, thanks Faredodger.

My new quiz:

The station I am seeking is a closed station on a closed line. It is not/ was not a junction or a terminus.
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

That restricts the possible answers to a thousand or more. Let's start with Karawinna?

More likely that Karraloser!

I'd better get in with Koonwarra before they decide to change the name.
