This is not necessarily a straightforward question, as it gives rise to the question of what constitutes a terminus. The dictionary meaning is the end of a line or route; but not ever having been a railwayman, I don't know how precisely the word is used in Victoria. Is it the physical end of the infrastructure, or simply the end of a regular route, which opens up the question to a larger range of contenders.
Is this all about terminology?
(Incidentally, the word comes from Terminus, the Roman god of boundaries.)
Anyway, to start the ball rolling, I'll go with the obvious one and say Daylesford.
And please forgive my drivel.
