A story that was linked to a few days ago in the GSR thread in the South Australian forum, plenty of discussion over at https://www.railpage.com.au/f-p1984088.htm#1984088

The story is rather misleading as it claims both Ghan and IP services will be halved, whereas the fact is there is only to be a reduction of 12 Ghan and 8 IP services per year. (That is the peak season second weekly services are only to be cut)
