    VGR are also offering Castlemaine to Maldon return trips with the Royal Train hauled by steam on March 30, June 8 & June 10.

    Last Saturday's train to Bendigo (Seymour-SCS-Bendigo-Echuca-Seymour) hauled by B74 and S303, with Yarra-30AE-Mitta Mitta-Murray-SC5-SC4 in tow, looked absolutely immaculate.

    My information is that the carriages will be arriving into Castlemaine station tomorrow afternoon to be shunted over to the VGR lines and into the clutches of Y133.

    Reports coming in of T333 and some box cars also in the mix.  

    Further reports are of foam freely flowing between Seymour and Echuca this morning....

    Just want to give a big shout out to @Carnot who kept me informed about the progress of today's transfer to Castlemaine. This meant that a few of the Workshop crew could get to CME in time to see it arrive. Made it with about 50 seconds to spare

    Went throgh Maldon on Saturday and noticed T333 in the yard. Good to see it back, hope it got its wheels done so it can be used (didn't stop to see).

    Something was going on in Maldon today (no signs anywhere saying what). The main road was closed and filled with hundreds of motorbikes, as well as the area and roads to/from Maldon having dozens of motorbikes around. Two steam locos in steam at the station, one on carriges in the platform which appeared to be the/a vintage set. T333 still where it was when first seen, hasn't moved.

    Ales on Rails and Colonial Express were running yesterday on the VGR.

    May 11 will be a big day - VGR and SRV running the Echuca Overlander with K153, and a 707 ops charter to Bendigo the same day.
    Two steam trains in Bendigo that afternoon departing an hour apart (4:30 and 5:30pm).
