The whole line is a debacle ATM. After my 40 minute late Up trip lase evening my colleague's 10.20 Down was over 30 minutes late into CME and that is with the temporary TT that allows for the TSRs

". . . due to inclement weather." Backward countries like the USA and Canada can run in snow; India can run in the heat and so on.  V/Line is obviously going for the award for most ridiculous statement.

Yep. Same work colleague from this morning's 30 minute late trip is on the 17.07 Up ex CME currently crawling through Elphinstone. This is the same train that I got last night which ran 40 minutes late.......

And this one stranded about 20 passengers on the platform.  Oh dear...

This may be a dumb question, but why won't it stop at Malmsbury?

Not sure whats gone on there, there's no 'items' about it in the system and the 0658 ex Epsom (and all others) appears to have stopped at Malmsbury with 14 passengers boarding.

Well the time sheets are in - my colleage's total hours door to door were just over 12 hours that day. Just over 7 hours of that was travel time Metro and V/Line. Just under 5 hours of it was at work.

The Bendigo Line is absolutely hopeless ATM, my Up service this evening was over 25 minutes late into Footscray. Even with the special TT for speed restrictions I reckon I have had 1 on time (as in within 5min 59s of the TT) trip this month.

No V/Line buffet facilities operating for the foreseeable future, due to the pestilence.

From the words of station and train staff.

This is a good one to occur during the sleeper replacement program:

Is there a world-wide competition to see how many different types of stuff-ups can be achieved on one line? Regular commuters on the Bendigo line - you are possibly becoming a part of history.

Albury services still facing delays after Wallan.  You would think every available crew would be working the line to complete upgrades?

  Carnot Minister for Railways

Postscript to yesterday's dramas on the Bendigo line - it was IEV100 returning to Melbourne after getting major repairs done to it at SSR workshops.  All seemed good after a test run out past Eaglehawk on Sunday, but it failed in the same location where it was disabled last year. (Castlemaine jinxed it again!)

A N class retrieved it from Castlemaine and towed it to Dynon.

The bulk of the current delays are still due to the 80 km/h limit imposed by the ONRSR.

Currently there is little work happening on the NESG, outside of a few short total occupations, while repairs at Wallan concluded several weeks ago now.
