Sorry i missed your earlier post.
Yes it was indeed Freightcorp with a brand new 82 class.
Pretty sure it came in off the south from Vic....i was Parkes based at the time and due to ray look at me martin faffing around the train ran into Parkes 1.5 hrs down.
Annoyed me greatly as i wanted to meet Angry...long term fan...but due to bills to be paid shopping to be done i could not hang any longer at work after my day shift ended.

Will have a look through my log book later to see if i can find the date.

Some people here are a little up themselves. I thought ANR's comment was sarcastic, but then immediately belted down by those who sit in higher places. Not good form and not conducive to open discussion.

I think that you might find that the one who made the 'belted down' comments departed from RP not long after.

Does anyone see any merit in railing water tankers to the scrub?
Could be a reason to use branch lines.

Road would be far more effective.  If you need more than that a pipeline is perhaps the next best thing.

Pretty sure that water already goes to Cook via rail, but not sure anywhere else gets it this way.
