I went through Table Top very early this morning and all the signals have been removed (gantry is still in place thought) and the new Ettamogah signals cut in. I didn't notice if the points were still at Table Top. I'll be going through during daylight next week so will have a better look then.

Thanks Fatty for the update, which is much appreciated.

Fatty, I have one more question.

To the north of Table Top the line crosses Bowna Creek via a 5 span bridge.

The interesting thing about this bridge is that the abutments and I am pretty sure the piers were designed to accommodate two tracks. I was shown a plan of this bridge dating from around 1950 and the tracks were on the western side of the abutments / piers. When you look at Google Maps the tracks are on the eastern side of the abutments and piers.

I am not sure if there is some problem with Google, but I doubt it. Just to make sure do you remember which side of the abutments / piers this structure is actually located?

Thanks again for your time Fatty.

Kind Regards

There's a similar structure (riveted plate web girder, transom top, through spans) over Burkes Creek about 3km Nth of The Rock. The unused abutments and piers are on the Up or Western side.

Your Google research is correct - the line runs on the east side of the bridge piers.
