I'm disappointed the ABC in Adelaide apparently offered payment for some story. If I was inclined to I'd write to enquire, but it's in another state and....

As if this was never going to happen! People who thought that somehow Mister Magoo was going to be different are getting schooled in the way that the dominant power structure controls the narrative in the United States.

Very disappointed that this was not reported on the ABC Australia website, nor was it on News.com.au and in fact most major news services didn't report it at all.

It took him 33 days to resume bombing in the Middle East - he's also this week come out in support of the Saudi government continuing to bomb and kill civilians in Yemen. Not surprising really because the United States sells them the hardware that they use to kill said civilians.

Anyone who thought Joe Biden was going to change policy on bombing the sh*t out of innocent civilians in the Middle East has just had a lesson in realpolitik.

Well its all being fought and controlled by proxy states isn't it. Iran and Syria by the Russians, Israel, Saudi Arabia et al by the United States. Notably China has stayed out of it - so far.

Don't know what the answer is - maybe for everyone to bugger off and let them control their own respective destinies I guess - but that's never going to happen is it.

So...the representative from SA cr@p about 'sleepy Joe' and other less than flattering adjectives, most like plagiarised from the far right media is not so accurate after all.

I would not call Iran a Russian proxy, they have not the best relations. As for Syria, they are just happened to be backed by Both of them as they both don't want the Americans getting any more leverage in the region. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend'.
China has a long standing policy of not deploying there military in overseas conflicts, generally as a result of the Sino- Vietnamese war.

But the Question remains? Who to control Syria? Whoever the peoples of Syria want, regardless of foreign interference (like that is going to happen)

The only thing that didn't take long is for the moaning minnies to get back in stride. You lot are never happy. Would you prefer to have Mr. Trump back? Biden is fine, just try being positive for a moment instead of the constant search for something to be outraged about.

What's not accurate about it? Sleepy Joe launches an attack on civilians in Syria, refuses to condemn China for operating concentration camps full of Muslims, says the Saudis have the right to drop bombs on Yemeni civilians.

What a shock that you and your nauseating ilk of cheerleaders won't condemn Biden for doing the sort of stuff that would have had you OUTRAGED if Trump had done it?

Double standards much?

Mister Magoo off to a flying start with engagement in foreign conflicts while tacitly endorsing human rights violations overseas. What a great guy.

I presume you're referring to President Biden. Once more, your childish name-calling renders anything else you might have said null and void. And China has no 'concentration camps'. As I've said before, good manners and education are important in Chinese culture, and they can be strict in their enforcement, and if you show a lack of education you'll certainly be given a fair opportunity to learn the error of your ways. I think you'll find plenty of people in Australia who wish local miscreants were shown a bit more of the strap and given fewer fluffy words.

Now, now billy; colourful language and name-calling are Don's stock in trade. Considering his customary feeble arguments and lack of evidence, he has to try to impress us somehow, and he probably learnt to call people names when he was at primary school.

Trump did almost nothing in four years apart from a few publicity shots in the Oval office where he appeared to sign something...perhaps it was a Bill or a Law or a takeaway food order. Trump wouldn't have a clue what he signed.

Wrapped up with a few lame speeches where he told everyone how great he was and how many of the US citizens including its dead military personnel were 'losers'...oh and of course his time on the golf course and that about wrapped it up for his term, apart of course for the 30,000 lies and the 15 most notable pearlers as mentioned below.

As I've mentioned before Trump turned lying into a legitimate response whilst he was in Office. Thankfully those days are consigned to history and the few good Republicans remaining like Liz Chaney will have to re-build their decimated party.

This has to be said because it flew under the radar here.

The integrity and humanity of President Joe Biden.

Trump visited nobody unless it could be seen as improving his appeal to his constituency. Why would Trump visit a 'loser'.

You're such a brain-dead ABC-watcher and Age-reader that you wouldn't know if Trump actually accomplished things in his four years of office. You wouldn't be told.

And yet you just lap it all up like the salivating dog that you are... totally unquestioning.

And what, are you saying Trump has never visited any former colleague dying from cancer? That's just spiteful and plain bitchy, Mike - you know nothing about the world outside your own little comfort zone and you don't want to.

I believe that President Trump has visited many people down in their luck, in both his business and political careers. However, unlike President Biden, he appreciates the qualities of discretion and refuses to turn what is and should be an event of charity and compassion into a media circus.

It looks like I touched a nerve of the representative from SA. I'm chuffed he's realised Trump was a total loser and a megalomaniac.

That Florida speech, OMG, just shovel fulls of more of the same and it didn't matter which quality news broadcaster it was viewed or heard through, it sounded just the same as via far right conspiracy theorist broadcasters and his brain dead fans lapped it up.
