On the 28th of June Brackenridge Railway will have its Birthday run. Brackenridge line is situated on Denham St in the Brisbane suburb of Brackenridge. The track is 5 inch gauge only but has some very challenging grades and a rather lush park setting. Please PM me for contact information.
I'm bringing my loco over for the DVR Steam Gala this long weekend and planning to spend saturday and monday at DVR but also thinking about visiting one or two other miniature railways on sunday. So I'm just wondering who will be running this sunday in the Melbourne area or is everyone going to DVR?
Further incentive for the Brackenridge Birthday run, I have just been informed that the Brisbane backyard bonzna is taking place on that day. The Bonanza (In MacPherson Park in which the track is situated) includes kids rides, stalls, markets, displays and live music. So if you want to play trains and keep the kids and misses occupied this is the day!
